After years of resisting I finally tried my hand at pinhole photography. I have a long way to go but I love the dreamy look and the simplicity of the process. This image was just a test shot from the balcony of my Sonoma office right before the big fires. You can see Sonoma Mountain and the postoffice!! Tech stuff. First real test images with my dad's old 1950's Canon IV SB 35mm range finder. It has the <E-P> mark indicating that it was purchased at a military MP store. Don't know the history, but at the time Japanese made products were not widely sold in the US. Shot on expired Fuji Velvia 50 slide file. Lens Voigtlander Aspherical Nokton 50mm f1.5. Overlook Hiking trail Sonoma, CA. Makes me happy now that both he and my mother are gone that this camera is making new family memories.Processed and scanned by The Darkroom. #Canon #CanonIV #Fuji#Velvia50 #Voigtlander #Nokton50mm#SonomaOverLookTrail #bokeh#TheDarkroom

Got to start 'em young!! Weston with the 4x5!
Rainy day photo test shoot with Weston (the joys of being a photographers son!) and a question for the group.
Shen Hao HZX-IIA
Nikon 210mm 5.6f W
Q: I shot this with the 210mm and I like the tight crop and spect ratio, but I also have the Fujinon 250mm 5.6f SF that I would like to use for similar types of head shots. The problem is that the Shen Hao bellows were at already max extension with the 210mm and I couldn't get it to focus with the same crop and aspect ratio with the 250mm. What can I do? different camera? lens board extension?
Thanks in advance
Hello Everyone! I am also a newbie to the group. I do Pt/Pd printing mostly from 6x7 negs shot on my RZ, but I got a Shen Hao 4x5 last year and never used it until this weekend. I am hooked and looking forward to using it more in the weeks and months ahead.
